How to create a MobilePay account

Here you will find instructions on how to register with MobilePay and get access to the correct solution. To use Edpay, you need your own account with MobilePay and access to the “Online Payment” / “Payment integration” solution.

Edpay is an official MobilePay partner, and we have a simplified registration form you can fill out here:

Some fields in this form are pre-filled so that we can ensure you get access to the correct solution, while also making it quicker for you to complete.

The form is pre-filled to indicate that you are using Edpay as your integration partner, that you want access to “Integrated Payment,” and that you will be using MobilePay on your own website.

You will need to fill in:

  • Link to your website – If you don’t have an active checkout page available from the homepage, it might be wise to link directly to your checkout page instead. MobilePay needs to see what your payment solution currently looks like and that the terms and conditions are visible from checkout.
    • Tip: Make sure your company name, organization number, address, phone number, and email address are visible on your website, preferably in the footer.
  • Link to your terms and conditions
  • Name of your sales unit – This will be visible to the customer when they pay in the MobilePay app.
  • Bank account number.
  • Estimated annual turnover for your business – Write what you expect your turnover to be for this year.
  • Estimated percentage of your turnover expected from MobilePay – This is hard to predict, but it is only an estimate.
  • Category for services and products – We have pre-selected “Schools and educational services,” but you may choose a different category if you prefer.
  • Check the box to indicate you will be selling courses – Here you must specify the percentage of your MobilePay turnover that will come from one-time purchases. If you will not be offering subscriptions, this should be 100%.
    • One-time payments – If you only offer one-time payments, set 100% of turnover here and indicate that 100% of customers get access less than one week before the service expires. The customer will get access to the product immediately after payment.

    • Subscriptions – If you will be offering both one-time payments and subscriptions, you must tell MobilePay what percentage will be one-time payments and what percentage will be subscriptions (these must total 100% – for example, 40% one-time and 60% subscription). You must also indicate the distribution between monthly and yearly payments (must total 100% – for example, 80% monthly and 20% yearly).

Finally, click Order solution, and then we just have to wait for MobilePay to process the application. Processing time is typically up to 2 weeks.

Once you are approved by MobilePay, you can log in or register at Edpay to continue: https://app.edpay.co/login

If you have any questions about the application, feel free to send an email to [email protected] 🙂
